Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and since the fall of the Iron Curtain
has become a very popular tourist attraction. The Czech name is Praha. Prague is
situated on the Vltava river in the central Bohemia.
The city did not receive much damage during the World Wars and thus many of the
old historic architecture remains. There are many fine examples of differing styles
ranging from Art Nouveau, Baroque, Renaissanse, Cubist, Gothic, Neo Classical and
Ultra-Modern.

The local airport is Ruzyne (PRG) which is about 10km from the city centre.
