The fleet consists of two ships at the time of writing Disney Wonder® and the Disney Magic®

Brief History:

• Walt Disney Company announced plans to start the Disney cruise venture on May 3, 1994.
• Guests for the Disney Magic® maiden voyage were selected by lottery in February, 1997.
• The Disney Magic® departed from Venice, Italy on July 1, 1998.
• The Disney Magic® arrived at Port Canaveral for the first time on July 15, 1998.
• The maiden voyage of the Disney Magic® took place on July 30, 1998.
• The Disney Wonder® departed from Venice, Italy on July 14, 1999.
• The Disney Wonder® arrived at Port Canaveral for the first time on August 2, 1999.
• The maiden voyage of the Disney Wonder® took place on August 15, 1999
